Perform and reconcile inventory counts, maintain inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, analyze inventory output, coordinate with departments, and support warehouse/distribution operations while following company policies.

Job Description

 

  • Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories
  • Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
  • Coordinating with other departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Work cross-functionally, becoming a subject-matter-expert in multiple areas of each department.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of related warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of retail or distribution center operations,
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime when required/some weekends 
  • Ability to follow direction and multi-task

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: 19 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
