Privacy Operations & Execution
- Execute and manage data subject rights (DSR) processes, including intake, validation, coordination, response tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate and support privacy assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and other privacy reviews, including documentation and follow-up actions.
- Maintain and update records of processing activities (RoPA), data inventories, and related documentation.
- Support vendor onboarding privacy reviews and third-party due diligence processes.
- Support privacy tools and workflows, including data entry, tracking, reporting, and metrics management.
- Track and report on operational privacy metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement.
- Administer privacy monitoring, compliance checks, and remediation activities.
Privacy Advisory & Program Support
- Support the implementation and day-to-day operation of UL Solutions' global privacy program, policies, and standards.
- Coordinate with regional privacy leads (EMEA, China, US) to support consistent global execution and alignment of privacy processes.
- Coordinate with business and functional teams to support privacy requirements and remediation actions.
- Research and monitor evolving privacy laws and regulatory developments and support internal awareness and implementation.
- Assist in privacy incident documentation and response coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in law, information management, or a related field.
- Approximately 3-4 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or related roles.
- Experience supporting privacy programs in a global or multi-regional organization.
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and practices (e.g., GDPR and APAC privacy frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with DSR handling, privacy assessments (PIAs/DPIAs), data mapping, vendor reviews, and data inventory/RoPA maintenance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred
- Experience with privacy management tools (e.g., TrustArc, OneTrust or similar platforms).
- Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM).
