Lead Benefits Coordinator manages patient access, insurance verification, scheduling, authorizations, and administrative workflows in a clinical practice. Provides training, mentorship, and escalation support while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and high patient satisfaction.

Provide specialized outpatient nursing care for immunocompromised hematology and stem cell transplant patients, administering cellular therapies, high-dose chemotherapy, blood products, and growth factors. Perform assessments, triage calls, coordinate admissions and follow-ups, educate patients and families, mentor staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care and clinic flow.

Provide scheduling and registration support for a clinic: answer calls, schedule appointments, verify/enter registration and insurance, document messages, prioritize urgent requests, coordinate interpreter services, notify patients of financial obligations, and provide front-desk/call-center backup.

Operate multi-slice CT scanners to obtain diagnostic cross-sectional images, perform 3D post-processing, administer contrast and IVs, use RIS/PACS, complete ACR QA on equipment, obtain patient history, perform ultrasound exams, and provide care across all age groups. Support clinic on Saturdays.

Provide routine technical and clerical support for clinical and diagnostic research projects. Assist with experiments, assays, data collection and interpretation, solution preparation, equipment setup and maintenance, routine tests, and general lab upkeep under supervision.

Support departmental marketing and communications by creating and editing content for newsletters, web, social media, and collateral; plan and execute campaigns, monitor channels, analyze results, coordinate printing/delivery, and cross-train on other marketing functions to meet strategic goals.

Coordinate and execute clinical trial activities for dementia studies: recruit and consent participants, administer cognitive assessments, manage study visits, maintain regulatory and GCP-compliant documentation, process and ship biological specimens, enter and QC data in EDC, support IRB submissions, and liaise with investigators, sponsors, and clinical teams.

Lead hospital-based clinical research integration by translating protocols into safe, reliable workflows, advising nursing and study teams, coordinating multidisciplinary study execution, setting safety/documentation standards, and building program infrastructure, training, and mentorship to sustain high-quality research without compromising patient care.

Provides expert direct patient care for bone marrow transplant patients, mentors staff, leads unit and quality improvement activities, manages complex patient assignments, coordinates education, and drives patient safety and operational efficiency at the unit and service-line level.

Produce financial analytics, forecasting, modeling, and reporting for assigned divisions. Develop and maintain financial and productivity models, analyze financial and economic data, prepare and review budgets, present forecasts to leadership, support budget managers, complete ad‑hoc reporting and special projects, and mentor junior team members.

Manage and resolve denied or disputed hospital claims by analyzing medical records, payer rules, and coding accuracy. Prepare and submit appeals and audit responses, track outcomes, perform root-cause trend analysis, review contracts, negotiate with payers, support process improvements, and mentor billing staff to recover reimbursements and reduce future denials.

Lead administrative support for an academic department: manage budgets, compliance and accreditation, maintain student and curriculum records, coordinate faculty contracts, hiring and scheduling, and support recruitment, admissions, orientation, and graduation activities.
