The Role
Coordinates continuing education programs, workshops, and conferences from planning through completion. Responsibilities include selecting and scheduling courses, identifying new program opportunities, arranging venues and auxiliary services, managing logistics, supporting budgeting, and assisting with program marketing and presentations.

Under general supervision, responsible for the coordination of activities involved in the provisioning, administration, production, presentation and marketing of continuing education programs, workshops, and/or conference services.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the selection, design and scheduling of workshops to be presented.
- Seeks out new program opportunities, creates/modifies courses/programs and activities to meet the ever changing needs of the institution.
- Ensure the logistics of each course are completed as required from beginning to end.
- Secures appropriate conference setting and arranges for auxiliary services, including lodging, meals, and transportation.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with planning and coordinating short-courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.
- Familiarity with planning continuing education programs.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Budgeting experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
PREFERRED:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
