Manage and enhance MeDirect’s Belgian investment platform and product offering. Coordinate cross-functional investment projects, oversee operational processes and governance, support compliance and incident resolution, and serve as an escalation point for complex customer matters. Define business requirements, lead UAT, optimize processes, monitor investment products and markets, and collaborate with IT, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Contact Centre teams, and external partners to deliver platform improvements and operational excellence.

Develop and maintain scalable enterprise backend systems using .NET and C#. Design distributed, event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ and Kafka; build REST APIs; optimize performance, security, and reliability; troubleshoot production issues; create automated tests; support CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments; participate in technical planning and standards; and mentor junior developers.

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, internal QA tools, performance tests, and CI/CD integrations for digital banking products. The role includes monitoring test results, creating test plans, improving coverage, troubleshooting API and service issues, supporting component-level testing, and defining the automation roadmap. Collaboration with developers and QA engineers is central to ensuring reliable, scalable, high-quality software.

As an intern in various teams, you'll support HR functions, compliance, risk management, finance operations, marketing, and more, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Manage and advance the bank’s operational risk framework, including RCSAs, incident management, root cause analysis, remediation tracking, DORA compliance, ICT risk, resilience testing, third-party risk, and AI governance. Develop risk reporting and key risk indicators, identify automation and AI opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, and support functions to strengthen risk culture and controls.
