Manages the Non-Point Source Pollution Clean Water Act Section 319 program and watershed implementation projects. Responsibilities include grant development and administration, water quality monitoring, environmental sampling, database management, technical reporting, permitting review, compliance monitoring, pollution mitigation planning, and community outreach. The role requires collaboration with Tribal, local, state, and federal partners, fieldwork in varied terrain and weather, operation of vehicles and watercraft, and travel within and outside the state.

Directs public health nursing services for Native American patients, supervising nursing and community health programs across clinics and home health services. Manages staffing, schedules, clinical documentation, compliance, budgets, reporting, HIPAA privacy, staff development, and program operations. Coordinates with health agencies and organizational leadership, supports recruitment and retention, maintains a client caseload, and ensures standards of nursing care and regulatory requirements are met.

Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and retirement plans. Support orientations, open enrollment, employee education, inquiries, applications, changes, terminations, audits, payroll deductions, carrier coordination, and eligibility issues. Lead case manager develops and oversees child protection case plans, mentors case managers and paraprofessionals, facilitates case reviews and staff meetings, monitors documentation and court reporting, and supports program procedures. The role collaborates with tribal, county, court, law enforcement, and community partners; responds to child abuse reports and 72-hour holds while on 24-hour call; participates in multidisciplinary teams; and provides culturally sensitive services to Native American children and families.

Patrols and secures facility and grounds, monitors surveillance, controls access, escorts residents, performs searches, documents incidents and daily logs, de-escalates confrontations, alerts medical or law enforcement when needed, and maintains resident confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.

Provide leadership and administrative support for Community Wellness, assisting the Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, facilities, personnel, and community partnerships. Oversee program operations, strategic planning, budgets, staff development, policy and grant support, and community engagement. Represent the division, support managers, improve service delivery, and ensure cultural sensitivity and compliance. Travel as required.

On-call and travel required.

Administer and process client billing for treatment services, maintain state billing systems (DAANES, MMIS, MINITS), verify client insurance and authorizations, ensure compliance with billing policies, prepare reimbursement reports, train staff on centralized billing, and support audits and confidentiality requirements. Regular travel may be required.

Lead internal and external communications, government relations, public information, community engagement and events for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Oversee communications staff, newspaper publication, radio station, website content, and strategic communications planning to support Tribal priorities, emergency messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
