Temporary Accounts Clerks reconcile balance sheet, clearing, general ledger, and subsidiary ledger accounts; investigate discrepancies and variances; validate transactions; prepare schedules and reports; support audits; and maintain accurate financial records. Leads finance operations transformation and supports accounting leadership across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, expense control, accounts receivable and payable, vendor compliance, and internal controls. The role develops financial models, improves workflows and compliance processes, supports financial and IT system enhancements, and manages close procedures, regulatory deadlines, organizational change, and team development.

Maintains investment accounting records, sub-ledgers, reconciliations, and general ledger postings. Prepares investment reports, audit schedules, statutory statements, regulatory returns, and management reporting. Supports budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls, and process improvements. Ensures compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements while collaborating with investment and finance teams to accurately reflect portfolio activity, income, fair value adjustments, cash flows, and investment balances.

Leads the enterprise internal audit function, including risk assessments, annual audit planning, governance and control evaluations, compliance reviews, audit reporting, recommendation follow-up, quality assurance, budgeting, and team leadership. The manager maintains the Internal Audit Charter, ensures alignment with IIA Standards, reports independently to the Audit Committee, advises senior management on emerging risks, and promotes strong governance, risk awareness, and internal controls.

Oversees accounting operations, month- and year-end close, IFRS financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, audits, and regulatory reviews. The role prepares management and Board reporting, advises senior leadership, improves financial systems and processes, and leads and develops the accounting team.

Leads external audit and assurance engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, internal control assessments, and regulatory reporting. Develops audit plans, directs fieldwork, reviews staff work, coaches team members, manages client relationships and deliverables, researches industry benchmarks, evaluates evidence, applies IFRS and ISA standards, identifies non-compliance, and ensures quality documentation and timely engagement archiving.

Handles insurance member inquiries, applications, account issues, complaints, correspondence, financial transactions, accounts receivable, reporting, deposits, payments, remittances, and refunds. Maintains accurate records and internal data, enforces financial policies, protects confidential information, and coordinates with insurance companies. The role also identifies member needs and cross-sells insurance products and services.
