Leads Operations Specialists supporting TELS Services customers and partners. Oversees daily service operations, escalations, performance metrics, coaching, hiring, root-cause analysis, workflow improvements, and operational transformation. Partners with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to improve tools and processes, communicates operational insights to senior leadership, and executes plans that improve quality, productivity, scalability, and customer outcomes.

Serves as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve cancellations, replacements, backorders, and post-order service issues. Manages supplier fulfillment, monitors performance, enforces contracts, identifies service trends, and supports quality improvement initiatives. Requires customer service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills. A bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business and technology-company experience are preferred.

Build AI-powered prototypes, MVPs, and production features using React, Node.js, Python, and AWS. Develop full-stack applications, scalable APIs, data pipelines, and user-facing interfaces integrating foundation models and emerging AI technologies. Lead cross-functional initiatives, evaluate market and geopolitical risks, recommend supplier investments and transitions, partner with Product Management and Finance, use analytics and AI for decision-making, and mentor sourcing team members.

Manage supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, negotiations, contracts, cost analysis, risk mitigation, and supplier performance for national brands. Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support cost, service, supply continuity, and business growth. Use analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to improve sourcing decisions and workflows while maintaining accurate sourcing data and contingency plans.

Provides Level 2 support for supplier and provider data requests, maintaining product and customer records through SQL and operational tools. Investigates data discrepancies, production errors, rejected feeds, and system issues; validates updates, documents resolutions, manages service-level requests, and escalates complex problems. Collaborates with engineering and business partners to resolve root causes and improve data quality, processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.

Serve as the primary liaison between customers and service providers, responding to phone and email requests, diagnosing needs, managing escalations, documenting actions and SLAs, and coordinating issue resolution. The role supports customer outcomes, process improvements, new-hire training, mentoring, and special projects. It requires consistent communication, multitasking, ticketing-system use, core-hours availability, and participation in approximately six annual 24/7 on-call rotations.
