Schedules patients, obtains prior authorizations, verifies insurance and medical necessity, assigns diagnosis codes, processes ABNs, prepares service estimates, and explains financial responsibilities. Maintains accurate patient and test-order information, coordinates with providers and clinical departments, protects confidential data, and provides courteous patient support. May also troubleshoot scheduling-system issues and perform related patient financial services duties.

Provide outpatient and surgical orthopedic care with a sports medicine focus, treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. Support local high school and collegiate athletic programs, collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, participate in a shared remote orthopedic call rotation, maintain medical documentation, and contribute to quality improvement and medical staff activities.

Maintains the healthcare organization’s infection prevention and control program. Monitors healthcare-associated infections, communicable diseases, laboratory data, cleaning and sterilization processes, and surveillance indicators. Investigates outbreaks and exposures, recommends isolation precautions, develops evidence-based policies, provides staff education, reports findings to committees and agencies, supports regulatory survey readiness, and collaborates across departments to reduce infection transmission.

Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging by preparing and positioning patients, operating radiology equipment, following ALARA and infection-control practices, maintaining image quality and safety, and complying with ARRT continuing education and HIPAA policies.

Manage and coordinate daily clinic operations across multiple sites, support supervisors and nurse managers, drive process improvement and regulatory compliance (RHC, OSHA), oversee staffing and budgets, lead meetings and reporting, and promote staff development and quality of care.

Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients in collaboration with a supervising physician. Participate in a multidisciplinary team, perform medical record charting, and apply clinical therapeutics and interventions while maintaining safety and infection-control practices.

Provide psychiatric services to adult and geriatric patients including assessment, DSM-based diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, psychotherapy (individual, group, family), medication management, crisis response, documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, consultation, and participation in treatment team meetings. Maintain licensure, certifications, and compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations; supervise and document physician supervision as required and prescribe psychotropic medications per state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.

Process and reconcile bi-weekly payroll using Paycom and the timekeeper system; prepare payroll tax filings and reports; maintain payroll records; handle garnishments and manual checks; respond to employee payroll inquiries; serve as HR backup and assist with general HR and mail duties.

Serve as the organization's financial leader: set financial strategy, oversee budgeting/forecasting/revenue cycle/compliance, analyze industry trends, drive revenue and efficiency, partner with CEO and executive team, and direct assigned departments to ensure financial sustainability for rural hospitals and clinics.

Prepare and portion food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, serve patients and guests, assist with meal ordering and payments, follow safety and portioning guidelines, and escalate customer concerns to management.

Provide pharmaceutical care in an outpatient/retail setting: prepare, dispense, and document medications; counsel patients; provide drug information; ensure regulatory compliance; maintain proper storage and dispensing systems; collaborate with clinical team.

Provide food preparation, serving, and customer service in a healthcare kitchen. Tasks include prepping produce, weighing ingredients, labeling and storing food, maintaining cleanliness, following recipes and portion/temperature guidelines, assisting patients with meal orders and deliveries, handling payments, and escalating concerns.

Perform document imaging, retrieval, scanning, quality control, and release of information tasks for patient records under HIM management. Ensure accurate patient identifiers, compliance with confidentiality rules, and follow Amberwell procedures while working independently or on a team.
