JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Retail Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients including, but not limited to, oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing and proper documentation of patient medication therapy as well as providing drug information, patient information and oversight of information and dispensing systems. The Retail Pharmacist will work with the team to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations as well as proper storage and documentation of pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum Required Experience: None
    • Preferred Experience: 1+ year Retail Pharmacist experience

 

  • Education:
    • Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD or Rph
    • Preferred Education: N/A
  • Licenses:
    • Minimum Required Licenses: Current Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing
    • Preferred Licenses: N/A
  • Certifications: 
    • Minimum Required: Immunization Certified, CPR certification
  • Preferred Certifications: N/A

Skills Required

  • Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy (PharmD or RPh)
  • Current Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Immunization certification
  • CPR certification
  • 1+ year retail pharmacist experience
