The Staff Accountant manages accounts payable and receivable, site cash boxes, payroll, and employee time-off requests. The role also supports employee onboarding and offboarding, building access management, and administrative coordination. Success requires strong organization, confidentiality, attention to detail, communication, time management, basic computer skills, and familiarity with clinical research regulations, GCP, ICH guidelines, and medical terminology.

Supports accounting operations in a multi-entity environment, including month-end close, GAAP-compliant journal entries, financial schedules, fixed assets, credit cards, Concur expenses, vendor payments, payroll, reconciliations, government reporting, 1099 reporting, and internal controls. Responds to inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and helps improve finance processes.

Processes multi-state payroll for multiple entities, including timecard review, payroll adjustments, tax forms, benefits-related inquiries, garnishments, PTO, and employee support. Coordinates approvals with HR and management, assists Finance with payroll accruals, prepares analytical reports, and ensures year-end payroll statement accuracy. Requires strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, financial analysis, payroll software, and Microsoft Office. The role is remote and may support company projects as needed.

Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models (especially time series) using Python, PySpark, and cloud tools. Perform feature engineering, evaluate model performance (MAPE, RMSE, R²), and create ETL/data pipelines with integration tools. Work with Palantir Foundry, Google Cloud (BigQuery, Vertex AI), AutoAI, and data warehouses to support large-scale analytics. Collaborate with stakeholders, monitor production models, and continuously improve model accuracy and pipelines.

Develop and manage integrated master schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and performance reports for aerospace and defense spacecraft programs. Analyze risks, dependencies, expenditures, and what-if scenarios; coordinate engineering, manufacturing, integration, testing, and launch activities. Establish program controls processes, templates, training, and reporting standards while briefing executives, customers, and government stakeholders on performance and corrective actions.

Supports the Legal Department by drafting, reviewing, and redlining SaaS contracts; preparing amendments and RFP responses; managing contract intake, storage, exceptions, obligations, renewals, and compliance tracking; and using CLM and AI-enabled tools to improve workflow efficiency. Collaborates with Sales, Finance, and other business units to enable rapid contracting while maintaining risk controls and contributes to legal operations process improvements.

Architect and refine scalable cloud infrastructure software for enterprise and internet-scale environments. Responsibilities include developing robust software, designing systems supporting 1,000+ nodes, optimizing performance, and collaborating with distributed technical teams in agile environments.

Build and deploy production-quality software integrations within customer aerospace and defense environments. Embed with engineering teams, connect CAD, CFD, FEM, simulation, and digital engineering workflows to Istari’s platform, develop reusable solutions, and serve as the primary technical interface. Translate customer needs into product insights, contribute to architecture and roadmap discussions, and support technical proposals. The role requires onsite customer work, U.S. citizenship, and clearance eligibility.

Serve as the senior technical engineer on a delivery team, writing production code, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, diagnosing complex issues, and owning software quality and reliability. Build TypeScript and JavaScript applications using Node.js, Express, React, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, testing, and observability. Modernize legacy systems, manage integrations and data synchronization, and use AI tools and automation to improve engineering workflows and delivery.

Design, develop, configure, integrate, and maintain ServiceNow solutions supporting mission requirements. Enhance ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM implementations, develop automation and integrations, support DevSecOps release and maintenance practices, and deliver continuous platform improvements.
