Assists the City Attorney by providing municipal legal counsel, representing Galveston in municipal, civil service, and civil litigation matters, and advising officials and departments. Reviews and prepares ordinances, resolutions, policies, contracts, construction agreements, and real estate documents. Conducts legal research, attends governmental meetings, interprets laws and legal authorities, and maintains confidential, cooperative relationships across the City.

Directs contract procurement, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and cost analysis for nonprofit employment business services. Develop and grow commercial fleet-service accounts within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, building client relationships, forecasting sales, tracking activities in Salesforce, analyzing customer performance, and executing plans to increase revenue and retention. The role partners with area and service leadership to achieve fleet sales and operational objectives and requires frequent travel.
