Responsibilities include developing a strategic pipeline, closing complex commercial partnerships, collaborating with Legal, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Data Science, and representing Sezzle within the CPG ecosystem. The director will help establish repeatable partnership programs and mentor future partnership managers.

Processes and images new and trailing deposit account documents, indexes records, identifies missing documentation, tracks exceptions, and verifies account-opening compliance with Customer Identification Program requirements. The role supports branch staff through phone, email, and ticket responses, maintains exception records, monitors product documentation criteria, and completes required BSA/AML and compliance training.

Supports digital marketing and SEO initiatives through website audits, content and site optimization, quality assurance testing, ticket coordination, digital asset creation, video editing, and DTC website content maintenance. Requires at least one year of relevant experience, including internships or project work, with preferred experience using SEO, CMS, analytics, design, and video-editing tools.

Prepares and analyzes site budgets, forecasts, operating costs, capital plans, and long-range financial plans. Supports month-end and annual closing with journals, accruals, and reports; maintains a sales revenue database; prepares sales and property tax filings; and provides technical accounting support. The role works with departments to identify miscoding, cost overruns, and cost-reduction opportunities, while handling high volumes of accounting data independently and accurately.

Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities; prepare journal entries, insurance and reinsurance accounting, tax accruals, investment activity, and intercompany transactions. Support ERP administration, statutory and regulatory reporting, internal controls, tax filings, and process improvements, including AI-driven workflows. Conduct analyses and contribute to cross-functional initiatives while maintaining accurate financial records.
