The User Experience Lead at Horizon Hobby will advocate for customer needs throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating with various teams to enhance product development and testing for RC vehicles.

Manage daily business office operations, supervise and schedule staff, oversee resident billing, accounts receivable, collections, move-out administration, accounts payable, vendor relationships, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors while resolving billing concerns and maintaining accurate, confidential financial and resident records.

Design mission-critical federal digital products for investigative operations, data analysis, and operational decision-making. Create wireframes, journey maps, workflows, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces; conduct research and usability testing; simplify complex, data-rich workflows; contribute to information architecture and design systems; and collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and agile delivery teams while meeting accessibility, security, and enterprise standards.

Lead and transform the software engineering, integration, BI, QA, and release functions into a modern Agile organization. Drive modernization, implement engineering best practices (code review, testing, CI/CD), oversee sprint and release management in Jira, build KPIs and documentation in Confluence, and manage vendors and stakeholders to deliver customer integrations, portals, and analytics solutions.

Designs and executes high-fidelity simulation models and architectures using ANSYS STK, ANSYS engineering tools, AerSim, and related platforms. Performs physics-based modeling, Monte Carlo and uncertainty analysis, sensitivity analysis, trade studies, validation, and what-if analysis. Develops visualizations, scripts, plugins, reports, and simulation documentation. Integrates external data, supports systems engineering and MBSE teams, and handles classified DoD information.

Provide high-level administrative, enrollment, compliance, and operational support to the CEO and Principal. Manage calendars, correspondence, Board and Finance Committee meetings, student enrollment and records, compliance systems, event coordination, and confidential matters while serving as a primary liaison among staff, families, Board members, and external partners.

Support development of proposals and qualifications by writing, editing, and proofreading; interpret RFP requirements; research background materials; coordinate award pursuits; liaise with marketing across offices; maintain proposal pursuit database; and learn the firms project and client portfolio.

Supports daily HR operations, employee lifecycle transactions, employee data maintenance, onboarding and offboarding, HR reporting, audits, documentation, and process improvements. The role requires hands-on Workday experience, UKG data maintenance, accurate HRIS administration, confidential information handling, and collaboration with HR, payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition teams. Preferred experience includes Workday modules, advanced business process actions, custom reporting, and EIB bulk data loads.

Provides receptionist and clerical support for facility operations, including answering and routing calls, recording messages, completing accountability calls, monitoring resident movement through GPS tracking, maintaining phone inventories, and reporting accountability information to management. Operates office equipment, maintains accurate records, participates in required training, and supports compliance with community corrections contracts.

Provides first-level technical support to employees and residents through helpdesk, phone, email, and walk-in requests. Troubleshoots WiFi, Ethernet, Windows 11, tablets, printers, and other equipment; performs password resets and account support; updates websites using WordPress Elementor; researches solutions; and assists with IT projects, rollouts, maintenance, inventory, documentation, and basic wiring. Supports multiple campuses and may provide occasional after-hours assistance.
