The Senior Development Officer will lead fundraising efforts, cultivate donor relationships, and drive significant philanthropic investments for JDC's mission.

Territory-based B2B sales role building relationships with local business owners, prospecting new accounts, assessing technology needs, presenting customized solutions, negotiating and closing deals, maintaining and growing accounts, and tracking opportunities in CRM.

Lead end-to-end proposal development for federal, state, and local government opportunities. Lead university-wide operations, oversee operational calendars and implementation tracking, manage risk/compliance and business continuity, administer policy/procedure processes, run operational effectiveness reviews, perform operational and financial analyses, lead cross-functional projects, and hire/supervise a team to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Build and run an end-to-end CRO operating system: prioritize and manage an always-on testing backlog, own the full test lifecycle, translate wins into scaled implementations, integrate test insights with paid media and creative, optimize conversion rate and contribution margin across funnels, design offer and funnel architecture, and lead CRO reporting and collaboration across Growth, Design, and Analytics.

Lead day-to-day operations across five NYC studios, ensuring event readiness, operational consistency, inventory and cleanliness, staffing, training, scheduling, and guest experience. Act as on-site escalation for events, animal welfare, and operational issues. Support in-studio revenue initiatives, local marketing activations, financial/administrative tracking, and cross-city projects. Regular in-person presence and weekend availability required.

Operate and scale the identity platform and access governance program: lifecycle provisioning/deprovisioning, B2B guest governance, non-human identity management, SSO/SCIM integrations, privileged access controls, IAM audit support, endpoint/MDM and SaaS administration, and escalated end-user support. Partner with MSP and cyber team to secure identities and respond to identity-related incidents.

Support day-to-day machine operation and phenotyping data collection, process and clean data for AI training, manage order administration, and develop territory sales through lead generation, local marketing, and market intelligence to drive adoption of Seed-X solutions in the California vegetable seed market.
