The Role
Workrise is hiring a skilled and passionate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Solutions is a highly strategic role responsible for shaping the next stage of Workrise's platform evolution through innovative partnerships and solutions. This leader will work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute strategies that redefine supplier management for the energy sector. The role requires a strategic thinker who can drive initiatives spanning product development, client relationships, and business growth opportunities while representing the company with external C-suite peers and industry leaders. This role is exempt and reports to the General Manager, Vendor Management (Source-to-Pay).

- Lead the development of strategic partnerships that enhance and expand Workrise's platform capabilities
- Shape the company's strategic direction for supplier management solutions in the energy sector
- Participate in and lead strategic discussions on product investments, ensuring alignment with the company vision
- Establish and manage client partnerships to test and refine new solutions
- Contribute to strategic decisions regarding legal SCM structures and compliance
- Assist in evaluating M&A opportunities that complement existing business offerings
- Assess insurance gap risk and develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives across the organization
- Represent Workrise at industry events and in discussions with potential strategic partners
- Drive innovation in the platform to address market needs and create competitive advantages
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and incorporate insights into strategic planning
