Role Value Proposition:
As a Senior Engineer on the ServiceNow Platform team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing solutions that support enterprise-wide digital transformation. You'll work closely with architects, product owners, and other engineers to deliver scalable and secure applications on the ServiceNow platform. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the evolution of our platform strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and enhancement of ServiceNow modules and custom applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions using best practices.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend platform improvements.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Knowledge of integration protocols (REST, SOAP).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience mentoring or leading small development teams.
