Key Responsibilities:
• Support the development, customization, and enhancement of Salesforce applications in alignment with business and technical requirements.
• manage/configuration items to minimize customization of the Salesforce platform.
• Assist in building and maintaining Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and declarative platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with senior team members to implement new features, resolve defects, and improve existing functionalities.
• Perform basic Salesforce administrative activities, including user setup, role/profile updates, permission set assignments, report generation, dashboard maintenance, and routine data updates.
• Participate in troubleshooting platform issues and support the resolution of functionality, access, and performance-related concerns.
• Assist with data management activities such as imports, exports, validation, cleansing, and maintenance of data quality standards.
• Support integration-related activities between Salesforce and other enterprise applications under the guidance of senior developers or architects.
• Adhere to established development standards, coding practices, security guidelines, and governance processes.
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration details, support guides, and release-related records.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to effective Salesforce-based solutions.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Salesforce technologies, tools, best practices, and emerging capabilities such as Agent force to support long-term professional growth.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, CRM platforms, or enterprise application support.
• Foundational hands-on experience with Salesforce development and customization.
• Knowledge of Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce declarative features such as Flow, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Basic understanding of Salesforce administration, including user management, profiles, permission sets, roles, and standard security concepts.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts, including testing, deployment, and defect resolution.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Salesforce Certification required.
• Need to have good understanding of Salesforce Security model and principals
Preferred:
• Salesforce Administrator certification, PD1& PD2.
• Exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related platform capabilities.
• Internship, academic project, or professional experience supporting Salesforce implementations or enhancements.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, integration concepts, or third-party system connectivity.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git and basic awareness of CI/CD or release management practices.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of enterprise support processes and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Agentforce capabilities will be an added advantage.
