This role requires deep expertise in Intelligent Automation, Low-Code platforms, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to lead the ownership, adoption, and scaling of Automation and AI. The incumbent will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, assess feasibility, translate business needs into prioritized user stories, and lead technical teams through solution build, deployment, support, and continuous value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery
- Provide accountable technical leadership across multiple product teams delivering end-to-end Intelligent Automation solutions within EMEA.
- Drive execution excellence through software delivery metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
- Enable teams to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and sustain momentum in an agile environment.
Business Partnership & Product Ownership
- Partner with customers, users, and business stakeholders to articulate the "Art of the Possible" using innovative, AI-infused automation solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Act as the Scrum team's primary business interface, owning product backlog, release planning, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify and prioritize customer pain points at the user-story level to maximize business impact and value delivery.
- Influence and negotiate priorities, milestones, and outcomes across competing stakeholder interests.
Architecture, Quality & Risk
- Oversee solution and product/application architecture, ensuring strong security, quality, scalability, and compliance considerations.
- Implement audit controls, security best practices, and architecture designs to proactively manage technology and process risks.
- Ensure vendor performance and deliverables meet contractual and quality expectations.
People & Talent Management
- Provide full people management for direct reports, including hiring, performance management, career development, compensation, and succession planning.
- Execute matrix leadership for cross-functional team members, supporting training, coaching, and skills development.
- Foster a culture of customer empathy, growth mindset, collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Innovation & Strategy
- Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in Intelligent Automation and AI, evaluating their potential to advance business outcomes.
- Contribute to technology roadmap development in partnership with IA leadership and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or Senior Technical Manager.
- Strong expertise in Intelligent Automation capabilities, including RPA, Document Digitization, Workflow/BPM, with an AI-first mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership with high accountability, ownership, customer focus, and value orientation.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance strategic and tactical objectives.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with the ability to champion agile principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment.
Technical Expertise
- Experience delivering Intelligent Automation solutions using platforms such as Blue Prism, Power Automate, Azure Document Intelligence, Pega and Kore.ai.
Preferred
- Proficiency in English, with working knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications (PM/PO).
