Role Value Proposition
This role supports the EMEA Controllers organization as an individual contributor, combining finance activities with support for selected US GAAP reporting and analysis tasks when required. The role operates under senior finance leadership and collaborates closely with accounting, reporting, and data workstreams within PeopleSoft environment and future MetLife new reporting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for a wide range of functions related to General Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliations. It includes but is not limited to:
• Lead EMEA accounting and reporting input into the design and validation new reporting environment.
• Act as the primary accounting and reporting counterpart to new reporting environment.
• Oversee and review analysis of EMEA financial results, including balance sheet, earnings, and key variance analysis, as required.
• Support preparation and review of EMEA financial reporting and management reporting deliverables, where required.
• Identify, document, and escalate risks related to data integrity, reporting consistency, and financial reporting transition controls.
• Represent EMEA accounting and reporting requirements in governance forums, testing cycles, and cross-regional calls.
• Support analysis and documentation of EMEA accounting and reporting data structures for new reporting environment
• Prepare and maintain mapping, validation, and reconciliation files supporting the new reporting environment
• Validate new reporting environment data extracts and reports against PeopleSoft and other reporting outputs.
• Support analysis of EMEA financial results and preparation of supporting schedules, where required.
• Assist with preparation, review, and documentation of EMEA reporting and analysis deliverables (e.g., balance sheet support, variance analysis).
• Support testing cycles, issue tracking, and remediation related to data and reporting.
• Coordinate with Controllers and other teams on data consistency and documentation topics
• Providing support to Client Reporting Team
• Providing support to clients on ad-hoc tasks
• Planning and monitoring execution of deliverables
Education & Experience
CA with 8-10 years of experience in accounting, closing, and reporting activities
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of accounting & reporting
- Should possess experience in handling end-to-end financial closing activities

Skills Required
- CA (Chartered Accountant) with 8-10 years' experience in accounting, closing, and reporting activities
- Experience in end-to-end financial closing activities and preparation/review of financial reporting and management deliverables
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting, including support for US GAAP reporting and variance analysis
- Experience working with PeopleSoft reporting/data extracts and validating reports against PeopleSoft outputs
