We are seeking an experienced Senior Professional with deep expertise in OpenText xECM for SAP and SAP-centric enterprise content management solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership for application architecture, custom development, SAP integrations, platform enhancements, and solution delivery while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards. This role requires close collaboration with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendor partners to drive the successful implementation and evolution of xECM solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Define the platform architecture, standards, and technology roadmap for OpenText xECM and Content Server.
- Design, install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain OpenText platform components, including Content Server, xECM, OTDS, Archive Center, Enterprise Search, Brava, and supporting services.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, compliance, and information management standards.
- Lead platform modernization, cloud migration (OpenText Cloud/AWS/Azure), high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Architect and govern integrations with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, ArchiveLink, and other enterprise applications using OpenText integration capabilities and REST APIs.
- Define platform security, authentication (LDAP/AD, SSO, SAML), governance, compliance, backup, monitoring, and operational best practices. Develop and maintain integrations between OpenText xECM and SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, Workflow, and ArchiveLink.
- Configure and enhance OpenText Content Server, xECM Business Workspaces, metadata models, document templates, classifications, and workflows.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design sessions, and solution governance activities.
- Develop technical specifications, integration designs, deployment documentation, and operational procedures.
- Mentor development teams and promote best practices for application design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

- 10-15 years of overall IT experience, including significant experience with OpenText xECM for SAP solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading platform architecture, application design, integration, and development initiatives across OpenText xECM, Content Server, and SAP ecosystems.
- Proven experience in enterprise-scale implementations, application modernization, upgrades, and migration programs.
- Experience integrating OpenText xECM solution with SAP business processes across business functions.
- Strong experience working in global, cross-functional delivery teams and engaging with business and technical stakeholders.
