The Senior Professional leads the Application Development team responsible for maintaining, integrating, and implementing software applications across the organization. This role ensures the smooth and timely deployment of new software and updates through advanced configuration, testing, and support. It also plays a strategic role in stakeholder engagement, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Accountabilities
Technical Leadership
- Design and implement complex application configurations aligned with business needs.
- Lead advanced programming, testing, and deployment of application updates and fixes.
- Provide expert-level application support and incident resolution.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Guide and mentor developers and analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Period close coordination: Manage end-to-end data integration flows connecting source systems to enterprise reporting platforms, ensuring timely and seamless data movement and high data quality. Work with period close coordinators to understand the period close / YEC mandates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, CFIN, CDP, Minerva, SLT, and platform teams.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable plans.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end data integration flows from source systems to enterprise reporting platforms.
- Ensure real-time data availability and continuity for financial operations.
- Monitor and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and integration workflows for scalability and performance.
Governance & Compliance
- Enforce data governance standards and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular updates and executive summaries to leadership.
- Maintain open communication channels with users and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in application development, product/data modeling, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in data governance, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
