Role Summary
- The Procurement Operations Analyst supports OmniCable's Procurement & PLM organization through data governance, business process effectiveness, reporting, systems support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of procurement and product-related data, supporting operational processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and partnering with business stakeholders to improve efficiency and scalability across the organization. Working closely with Procurement, Product Line Management, Operations, Finance, Information Technology, and other business functions, the Purchasing Operations Analyst serves as a key resource in supporting data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
- The successful candidate will combine analytical capabilities, technical aptitude, and process improvement skills to help strengthen enterprise data quality, optimize business processes, and support strategic initiatives as OmniCable continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Data Governance & Master Data Management
- Maintain and validate procurement, supplier, and product master data across ERP and related business systems.
- Support data governance standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate data updates and changes across functional teams.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data integrity issues.
Business Process Effectiveness
- Document, maintain, and improve procurement and product management business processes.
- Support process standardization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and workflow enhancements.
- Develop scalable processes that support business growth.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and distribute operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Support reporting and analytical requirements, including ad hoc analysis and actionable business insights.
Systems & Technology Support
- Support business system enhancements, implementations, and technology initiatives.
- Participate in requirements gathering, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Support OmniSync, Power BI, Infor M3, and other related business systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Training & Knowledge Management
- Serve as a business resource for process and system-related support.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, job aids, and training materials.
- Support user adoption and promote consistent process and system utilization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Procurement, Product Line Management, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Information Technology teams to support business objectives.
- Support strategic initiatives requiring process, data, reporting, and systems expertise.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and change management efforts.
Work Experience
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business operations, data management, analytics, or related functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and business applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infor M3.
- Experience utilizing Power BI, SQL, Jira, Lucid, or similar reporting and project management tools.
- Experience supporting master data governance initiatives.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, distribution, or supply chain operations.
- Experience documenting business processes and supporting operational improvement initiatives.
- Experience participating in system implementations, enhancements, or business transformation projects.
