Position Duties: Manage a team of Quality Engineers primarily tasked with verifying the quality of new feature development, maintenance, and integration with existing platforms through manual and automated testing. Mentor and grow team members, contribute to career path planning and maintain SMART goals to focus team members on expectations. Define and implement best practices and process improvements in quality engineering specifically, and product development in general, to maintain parity with the industry and business priorities. Supervise creating and improving test plans and test cases for product functionality. Work with the Product and Product Delivery teams to ensure product requirements are well defined and verifiable. Stay current with researching new testing technologies and improving existing solutions. Employ metrics for monitoring results and progress. When applicable, assist in executing quality engineering tasks. Define and track quality standards and metrics to help define product quality. Communicate with Development team managers to ensure that enhancements, new features, and bug fixes are thoroughly tested and meet our standards for customer delivery. Identify and address quality issues and process inefficiencies. Other duties as assigned and required.
40% telecommuting permitted in U.S. Requires up to 10% travel throughout the U.S.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field and 3 years of experience in Quality Control Engineering / Quality Assurance, or a substantially similar position, including the mobile applications for iOS and Android, white box and black box testing, testing applications on Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android and Linux, working in Agile environment, and testing in and managing virtual environments including VMware and Citrix.
