Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing engineering activities for existing products and New Product Introduction (NPI).

  • Work with experienced engineers and production teams to understand manufacturing processes, identify issues, and support practical solutions.

  • Assist with manufacturing process documentation, part routings, work standards, and process changes.

  • Support the development and improvement of fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids.

  • Participate in process improvement activities focused on safety, quality, productivity, cycle time, lead time, and cost.

  • Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.

  • Assist in analyzing production and quality issues and support implementation of corrective and improvement actions.

  • Support engineering trials, process validation activities, data collection, and documentation as required.

  • Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, and other cross-functional teams on manufacturing activities.

  • Support manufacturing engineering projects and track assigned actions to completion.

  • Interact with suppliers and vendors, as required, with guidance from experienced team members.

  • Follow EHS requirements and actively participate in initiatives to improve workplace safety.

  • Develop technical knowledge of GE HealthCare products, manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and operational systems through structured learning and hands-on experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.

  • Recent graduate with an interest in manufacturing, production engineering, process improvement, and hands-on technical problem-solving.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.

  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn from experienced engineers and manufacturing professionals.
