At monday.com, we are seeking experienced engineers to join our Boards group and directly impact millions of users every day and the company KPIs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a core group in our company as we expand our presence globally and continue our mission to create the best board in the world.

As a member of Boards group, you will have the opportunity to work directly on our flagship product, helping to develop features end-to-end for clients and servers. You will also play a critical role in evolving our architecture and engineering to support the ever-growing scale of our users, features, and data. 

As a backend tech lead, you will join a talented team and will have a crucial role in designing and developing mission-critical tier 1 services. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional performance and ensuring that our services achieve four-nines of availability in a highly dynamic and scalable operation, supporting high-profile requirements and laying the foundation for monday.com as a multi-product company.


About The Role:

  • Be part of an R&D domain technical leadership, closely affect the company products architecture and craftsmanship.
  • Evolve our architecture and engineering to support the ever growing scale of users, features and data and supporting the company multi-product strategy.
  • Work with a small team of experienced and highly talented developers in a CI/CD environment with cutting edge technologies.
  • Work closely with Product, taking full responsibility and ownership on Tier 1 services from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Our Stack - React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL, Cassandra


Requirements


  • Strong proven technical skills and a passion for production high scale services, data modeling, and databases.
  • Experience in full stack development building features end-to-end (client and server) from idea to production.
  • Able to lead the team operational excellence, quality and craftsmanship.
  • Technical leadership experience (Architect/ tech lead or similar roles)
  • Team player, strong communication skills, empathetic, and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of product and a passion for building software that provides a great experience.
