- As part of the Leadership Team, provides supervisory support by monitor performance and ensure alignment with other regional leaders.
- Provides coaching and training for individual staff to ensure consistent service delivery levels are maintained.
- Acts as the primary resources for policy, process-related and non-technical questions.
- Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
- Maintains service levels and enhances quality by conducting quality reviews and service observations.
- Receives escalation handoffs and responds to tasks/ jobs requiring prioritization, actively pursuing timely resolution in order to maintain and enhance the customers experience with UL.
- When necessary, works directly with internal stakeholders to execute complex tasks and resolve issue, if any.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of related experience including three years of supervisory experience, including work planning, direction and review; training employees; performance management; career development.
- Higher Secondary Education/ University degree or Diploma is required depending on the region.
- Should poses basic computer knowledge and shall be well versed with MS word and should have good Keyboard skills.
- IT/ computer knowledge will be added advantage.
- Shall be well versed with MS word and should have good Typing skills.
- English skills intermediate level / Applicant should possess strong communication skills, critical thinking and interpretation skills.
- Must be able to lead and support new initiatives.
- Identify problems and offer workable solutions.
- Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff.
