Position Summary :
• 16+ years of total experience in ERP, proven 10+ years of experience in Workday mostly in financial area.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management functional areas.
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Working experience with Prism Analytics from data ingestion to creation of dataset pipelines, data blending, transformation, configuring Prism data source security and publishing it.
• Strong hands-on experience with discovery boards and reports based on Prism data sources.
• Experience with Accounting Center setup, including accounting rules, mapping logic, posting configurations, and transformations.
• Proficient with data flows, reconciling subledger data to GL postings, and investigate discrepancies.
• Good knowledge of business processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Expenses, and Supplier Management.
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPATH, Java, JSON for integration development.
• Possess good knowledge in Workday Orchestration.
• Experience in cloud financial systems, ERP integrations, or large-scale Workday deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills to work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record in partnering with the business to deliver mission critical transformation via Agile approach.
• Workday Integration Core Certified or Workday Financials Certified.
• Understanding of PeopleSoft or similar ERP platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data lake concepts and modern data architecture to support scalable and efficient integrations.
Job Responsibilities :
• People Management - Managing software engineers located across multiple locations, upskilling/reskilling, hiring / retention agenda and adoption of engineering culture.
• Stakeholder Management - Managing key business stakeholders to deliver the required technological capabilities to support the digital transformation agenda. Driving prioritization of the product backlog.
• Lead and support E2E Software Lifecycle Management for Workday Financials (Architecture, Design, Development, Testing & Production).
• Collaborate with finance, compliance, IT, and implementation partners for alignment.
• Guide integrations with banks, treasury systems, and financial service providers.
• Guide and support peer reviews of solution designs and related code, ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines and compliance with security and privacy mandates.
• Document system architecture, specifications, and integration frameworks.
• Design and deploy Workday integrations, focusing on Financials & related areas.
• Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
• Possess hands-on knowledge of security models, reporting, and calculated fields in Workday.
• Ensure integrations security, error handling, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Partner with cross-functional IT and business teams to manage data migrations, third-party system integrations, and interface enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and system optimization within integrations.
