Description and Requirements
The process consists of responsibilities currently performed by the Implementation Specialist (IS) when installing a new group customer within MetLife systems. The role consists of a verification and confirmation that all MetLife systems and group customer eligibility information has been properly loaded and the group customer is in a claim-ready status. The key duties consist of the generation of a certificates and group insurance policy, establishing the group customer in the MetLife U.S. Affiliate billing system, the setup of MetLink and MyBenefit and the posting (not collection) of the initial premium check. Once the set up and verification process is complete, a request to send the group customer their MetLife U.S. Affiliate certificate and group insurance policy is initiated, the case is completed and activated, and the group customer is then ready for on-going service. Due to the nature of the business, there is a seasonal volume spike during the months of October to February.
Job Responsibilities
1. Essential Functions
New Business Installation executives are responsible for:

Retrieval of Sold_Case doc from WorkDesk/BIZFLOW.

Review of case to determine case size.

Confirm that MetLife systems and eligibility are loaded.

Generate MetLife group insurance policies/certificates.

Process First Bill audit and reconcile billing system if required.

Initiate MetLink access.

Activate New Business/Add coverage case in billing system.

Request for shipping of group insurance policy and certificate.

Create Welcome Call Request for the Account Specialist.

10. Complete New Business case.
Primary Internal Interactions
• AM for the purpose of reporting performance, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support.
• Manager for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the AM and monthly evaluation of performance.
• Quality Compliance Analyst (QCA) for the purpose of feedback and audit.
• Trainers for the purpose of process training.
• Associates for handling day-to-day execution of transactions and process activities with respect to the process.

Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education
Bachelor's degree (Any Stream) with a minimum of 15 years of education.
Experience
(In Years)
Professional from the Operations with at least 0-2 years of working experience
Technical Skills

• Good computer navigation skills

• Keyboarding and data entry speed (minimum 30 wpm with 90% accuracy)

• Good knowledge of complete MS Office suite

Process Specific Skills

• Knowledge about the Insurance industry in US
• Knowledge about US Culture
• Knowledge of Insurance principles

• Customer Service
• Problem Solving/Analytical Ability.

• Judgment and Decision Making

Soft skills (Mandatory / Desired)
• Excellent English comprehension and written skills
• Demonstrated flexibility as per process requirement
