The Associate Professional, Application Development job maintains, integrates and implements routine software applications within the organization. Under close supervision, this job performs basic software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Support day-to-day procurement processes such as sourcing, contract management, buying, and invoicing.
- Show a strong willingness to learn and explore new technologies, including AI-enabled tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams and help test AI-driven automation solutions that support procurement processes.
- Participate in Agile team activities, contribute to assigned user stories, and help deliver quality work on time.
- APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Maintains routine application configurations to meet user and business requirements while supporting development of improvements to standard and basic application support processes and procedures.
- APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Supports the execution of programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.
- USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Maintains effective communication channel with users and responds to standard and routine application support requests and needs.
- APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts basic and less complex application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborates with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business partners to help ensure configurations align with project goals.
- INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Analyzes assigned incident tickets and user requests.
- VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Performs supporting activities to assist with software vendors relationships and contracts.
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
- Hands on experience on SAP Ariba Guided Buying; Sourcing; Ariba Catalogs (External/Punch out).
- Knowledge on Ariba SLP will be added advantage.
