Owns customer acquisition goals, affiliate strategy, creator partnerships, commissions, paid amplification, agency management, fraud prevention, compliance, reporting, and performance measurement. Collaborates with Brand Social, Creative, Legal, Finance, and Analytics to optimize CAC, ROAS, LTV, reach, and engagement while expanding creator, ambassador, and performance partnership programs.

Lead product strategy and execution for Rover’s international bookings business. Drive zero-to-one product and business model experiments, launch new markets, improve customer experiences, analyze user and business data, run experiments, and develop roadmaps aligned with company goals. Partner closely with Design and Engineering to deliver impactful product experiences and accelerate growth outside North America.

Analyze and narrate financial and marketplace performance, decompose metric changes, investigate root causes, maintain cohort and forecasting models, build reporting and metrics, and present insights and recommendations to finance teams and senior leadership. Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, Product, Analytics, and data infrastructure teams to improve reporting, automation, and business decision-making.

Build and maintain frontend platform tooling across React web and React Native applications. Develop reusable cross-platform libraries, establish technical standards, guide the team roadmap, support technology migrations, and improve development workflows. Mentor engineers in Barcelona, represent Client Platform across the organization, and promote quality through testing, observability, monitoring, and effective use of AI-assisted development.

Serve as the analytics partner for Rover’s Pricing Experience team. Design and analyze geo and market-level experiments, develop pricing and elasticity analyses, identify marketplace performance drivers, and influence product roadmaps. Present recommendations to senior leaders and product teams while owning price-related data and metrics. The role requires strong SQL, Python, experimentation, causal inference, communication, BI visualization, and regular use of LLM tools.

Lead Rover-wide SEO and Answer Engine Optimization growth as a product surface. Identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, launch landing pages, run experiments, analyze funnels and results, and improve organic visibility and bookings. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, content, design, analytics, and international teams. Build AI-assisted workflows for research, reporting, visibility tracking, QA, and test design while ensuring accuracy and human verification.

Leads Rover’s provider product group, owning multi-year product strategy, roadmap execution, marketplace monetization, retention, and provider experience. Manages four product teams and product managers while coordinating with engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, finance, legal, and trust and safety. Drives experimentation, AI adoption, cross-functional alignment, and measurable supply-side revenue and booking growth across global markets.

Own Rover’s search experience for pet parents, improving provider matching, personalization, recommendations, and information retrieval. Partner with UX and Data Science to translate predictive-model insights into intuitive user experiences. Use customer research, behavioral data, experimentation, KPI tracking, and quantitative analysis to guide product decisions and deliver measurable impact. The role requires product management experience, technical fluency, customer empathy, and familiarity with two-sided marketplaces. It is hybrid in Seattle two days per week.

Supports Workday and HRIS administration, employee lifecycle transactions, HR reporting, dashboards, process documentation, and operational improvements. Administers global health, wellness, benefits, billing reconciliation, leave programs, and employee inquiries. Manages regulatory filings, HR policy updates, audit readiness, and compliance documentation while partnering across global teams.

Lead technical direction for Rover’s commerce platform, covering orders, checkout, payments, payouts, taxes, and financial reconciliation. Design scalable transaction systems, translate finance and regulatory requirements into architecture, resolve complex cross-team challenges, and mentor engineers. Partner with Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and external providers while improving system reliability, auditability, and financial accuracy across a high-traffic consumer marketplace.

Lead global SEM analytics for Rover, guiding bidding and investment decisions through spend allocation, incrementality testing, attribution, experimentation, and customer-value analysis. Diagnose acquisition performance, build trusted dashboards, shape the analytics roadmap, and partner with Finance, Data Science, and Engineering. The role also mentors analysts, reviews analytical work, and translates complex findings into strategic recommendations across brands and markets.

Owns month-end and year-end close activities, financial statement preparation, U.S. GAAP research, technical accounting, audit coordination, internal controls, and reporting deliverables. The role also drives process improvements, maintains audit-ready records, partners with FP&A and Tax, and mentors accounting team members.

Investigate account takeovers, payment fraud, phishing, organized fraud rings, identity verification issues, chargebacks, and account safety incidents. Analyze fraudulent transaction patterns, recover financial losses, manage appeals, and enforce account actions impartially. Communicate investigation findings to stakeholders and serve as a fraud and identity verification subject matter expert. The role includes weekend and holiday scheduling.

Leads paid social strategy and full-funnel campaign execution across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, Twitch, and international markets. Owns budgets, audience strategy, creative testing, organic content boosting, reporting, incrementality testing, and agency relationships. Partners with brand, influencer, PR, and analytics teams to drive customer acquisition, awareness, and measurable growth while ensuring platform policy and FTC compliance.

Build and launch customer-facing backend and frontend features for Rover’s recommendations and marketplace platform. Work with senior engineers to break down requirements, improve Elasticsearch search, support data science and machine learning initiatives, and enhance personalization. Collaborate with analysts, designers, and data scientists while following strong software development, testing, monitoring, and deployment practices.

Own and administer Rover’s privacy technology stack, including consent management, DSAR automation, data mapping, reporting, integrations, APIs, and troubleshooting. Partner with Legal, Marketing, Engineering, GRC, and Cybersecurity to maintain compliance workflows, support incident response, and resolve technical issues. Lead privacy platform integrations, vendor escalations, documentation, and mentoring. Build AI-assisted automation for repetitive privacy operations while ensuring human review of compliance-sensitive outputs.

Lead Rover’s acquisition and strategic partnership efforts from target sourcing and investment thesis development through valuation, negotiation, closing, integration, and post-close evaluation. Build financial models, assess synergies and risks, manage stakeholders, maintain an external target pipeline, monitor the pet industry ecosystem, and develop relationships with company founders and executives. Coach junior team members on financial modeling and deal execution.

Lead design for a new pricing team: define strategy, run workshops, partner with PMs, engineers, and data analysts, conduct user research and testing, create engineering-ready deliverables, and measure customer experience outcomes across web and mobile platforms.

Develop and maintain international revenue forecasting models, monitor performance against forecasts, analyze cohorts and consumer retention, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend data-driven actions. Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Product, and central teams to align assumptions, improve reporting, influence financial outcomes, and enhance processes. The role requires strong financial modeling, communication, analytical storytelling, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

Join the Backend Platform team to manage and scale Rover's datastores (Postgres/MySQL on AWS RDS), lead upgrades, design backups, build self-service automation (Terraform, Python), monitor systems (Datadog/CloudWatch/Splunk), participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate with product and engineering teams on migrations and performance tuning.
