Senior International Marketing Manager
 
In this role, you will drive new customer growth across Rover’s 16 international markets. You will navigate a global matrix organization, partnering closely with digital product teams to design and implement growth plans tailored to specific local markets.
 
- Optimizing the Growth Funnel: You will own the strategy across the entire funnel including Channel, Creative, Site Conversion (CR%), Offers, and Pricing to ensure we are scaling efficiently.
- Turning Insights into Action: By conducting deep internal and external analysis, you will derive the insights necessary to build local learning agendas.
- Leading Through Influence: While this position does not have direct reports, you will be responsible for working with and influencing central teams to execute your strategies and learning agendas.
- Quantitative Problem Solving: You will spend your time performing rigorous data analysis and applying critical thinking to solve complex growth challenges.
- You will report to the Director of International Growth in Barcelona.
 
This is a hybrid role, and you’ll join the team in our Barcelona office at least two days a week (Mondays and Thursdays) to collaborate in person.

What you'll be doing:

  • Contribute to and own implementation of the annual growth strategy for the International Markets. Transferring insight into plans, learning agendas and OKRs.
  • Own the execution of the local growth strategies with the central channel teams and external agencies. Setting clear New Customer volume targets per channel and managing any variances.
  • Work with the analytics department to ensure that actionable performance reporting and recurring mechanisms are in place - think Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews. Partner with the product and channel team to improve New Customer conversion rate for International Markets. Implement new, optimize existing and improve local experience of all landing pages.
  • Manage local content approach with central teams. Ensuring local content pillars in place and actioned against.
  • Produce and own local customer intelligence routines. Ensuring the local voice of the customer is being heard and turned into insight and action within the central teams including copy and content.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • High fluency in English (C2) is a must. This is the official Rover language and it’s used every day with every internal stakeholder.
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience driving cross-functional program outcomes
  • Experience of working directly with online and offline Marketing channels and technologies
  • Highly analytically independent - able to use data to solve complex problems in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to define and execute against clear timelines while driving forward stakeholders
  • Clear and structured communication style both verbal and written especially in writing business cases
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner cross-functionally coupled with the ability to influence diverse teams to drive towards critical decisions and deliver outcomes.

  • Experience working with software-related product and analytics teams
  • Experience in online marketplaces
  • Experience in one or more of the following countries: Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy
