Leads venture studio operations across startup deal sourcing, screening, evaluation, investment memos, due diligence, term sheets, portfolio tracking, and investor reporting. The role also produces major ecosystem events such as demo days, hackathons, investor mixers, and founder showcases. Responsibilities include building investor, mentor, and accelerator partnerships and collaborating with university leadership and external startup stakeholders.

The role reports to the CEO and requires substantial domestic and international travel from Mumbai.

Owns the university’s cross-functional management information system across operations, learner affairs, technology, finance, and career advancement. Designs unified data architecture and standards, builds dashboards and automated reporting, tracks operational and learner metrics, monitors IT infrastructure, prepares financial reports, and analyzes placement pipelines. The role tracks placement and long-term alumni outcomes, supports entrepreneurship, public leadership, research, graduate studies, and institution-building pathways, and explores AI tools for career discovery and opportunity matching. The Director reports placement and pathway metrics to the COO Office.

Build and maintain Rishihood University’s alumni community through relationship management, events, digital platforms, mentorship and placement connections, alumni storytelling, database upkeep, and engagement reporting. The role serves as the primary alumni contact, nurtures alumni contributions as mentors, speakers, recruiters, donors, or ambassadors, and keeps alumni connected to the institution and one another.

Build SASTech’s external engineering ecosystem by mapping Indian deep-tech companies, government technology missions, and research institutions. Develop relationships with technical leaders, source meaningful engineering problems, and structure them into capstones, research collaborations, fellowships, internships, and employment pathways. Establish government and research-lab partnerships, assess ecosystem quality, and track outcomes including prototypes, collaborations, solved industry problems, and student placements.

Manage student tech clubs, clans, hackathons, showcases, and university-wide events. Build annual learner experience calendars, coordinate faculty and external stakeholders, develop student leaders and volunteers, and foster community engagement. Create communications highlighting learner innovations, support admissions and onboarding activities, and guide student ideas toward prototypes or working projects through technology-focused programming.
