Lead systems engineering activities across acquisition, development, integration, test, and sustainment for Air Force programs. Conduct trade studies, risk management per SEAM, requirements analysis in DOORS/Launchpad, system validation, and prepare technical reports and briefings. Support Agile/DevSecOps environments and collaborate with government and contractor teams.

Leads Federal Government capture opportunities from qualification through proposal submission. Develops capture, customer, competitive, teaming, solution, and pricing strategies; coordinates cross-functional teams; manages pipeline data, milestones, risks, and executive gate reviews; supports proposal development and capture-to-proposal transition; and builds relationships with customers, contractors, teammates, and industry partners to improve win probability and corporate growth.

Develops and optimizes master production schedules by balancing customer demand, manufacturing capacity, raw materials, equipment, staffing, and outside processing. Coordinates planning with engineering, program management, inventory, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service teams. Integrates manufacturing orders, identifies schedule gaps, drives corrective solutions, leads forecasting meetings, and reports scheduling performance metrics to support efficient operations and on-time delivery.

Lead contract administration and subcontract management across matrixed teams: awards, modifications, funds tracking, audits, compliance, negotiations, contract close-outs, documentation, and coordination with government agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual, schedule, and performance compliance.

Manage and deliver CDRL/SDRL contractual data throughout the contract lifecycle: establish processes, maintain document control, coordinate stakeholders, track schedules and metrics, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/DIDs, support audits, and produce dashboards and reports.

Lead manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Manage staffing, training, scheduling, maintenance (TPM), lean initiatives, hazardous waste/MSDS compliance, production reporting, and support business development and capital planning.

Support and enforce DoD/Air Force cybersecurity requirements, perform RMF authorization activities, conduct vulnerability assessments, implement STIGs/SRGs, manage operational security posture, support incident response and audits, and assist ISSM with compliance, documentation, and security engineering for information systems.

Perform field maintenance on military aircraft, interpret technical manuals, wire diagrams and engineering drawings, install aerospace fasteners, maintain tools and inventory, document maintenance in military/digital records, and travel for extended deployments.

Design and model complex aerospace parts (lofted geometry) in NX/SolidWorks, perform and interpret FEA, design manufacturing/repair tooling, reverse-engineer parts with Faro/Keyence/Verisurf, support AS9100/ISO9001 quality activities, update work instructions, aid program managers as project engineer, and contribute technical content for proposals.

Manage mid-level or multiple small programs: develop/implement program plans, budgets, schedules, and execution strategy; perform program and technical management across engineering, logistics, finance, contracting, and configuration; translate requirements into solutions, identify risks and mitigation, provide status and decision information, ensure contractual deliverables and timely reports, and participate in program reviews.

Lead implementation of RMF A&A activities, perform risk and vulnerability assessments, manage PKI/accounts/ACLs, ensure STIG and DoD cloud compliance, maintain classified material and clearance databases, produce security engineering artifacts, support eMASS and acquisition security, and deliver security training and stakeholder coordination to achieve authorization and continuous compliance.

Perform maintenance and inspections on military aircraft as a field technician, interpret technical manuals and schematics, install wire harnesses and aerospace fasteners, maintain tools, inventory, and shop equipment, and comply with safety and company policies while traveling to varied locations.

Lead DoD program acquisition and execution efforts, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Support contract development and source selection, conduct program health and risk analyses, maintain acquisition reporting, and coordinate lifecycle logistics, mission planning, and stakeholder engagement. Ensure compliance with DoD/USAF acquisition policies and improve processes.

Perform systems engineering across lifecycle phases, translate DoD requirements into system requirements, conduct electrical engineering analyses and lifecycle cost evaluations, support test & evaluation planning/execution, and provide engineering support for FMS and acquisition activities for ground radar and related DoD systems.

Develop and implement CNC programs for multi-axis machining, estimate costs, define processes, design fixturing in CAD, set up and operate machines, troubleshoot and improve programs, mentor technicians, support project documentation and testing.

Support proposal development by proofreading and copy editing proposals, solicitations, presentations, and marketing materials. Check grammar, formatting, consistency, headings, acronyms, and cross-references. Assist with Word and PowerPoint formatting, version control, and final quality-control reviews. Collaborate with proposal teams, learn government contracting proposal processes, protect sensitive information, and accept editorial feedback. On-site in Byron, GA; part-time (15–25 hrs/wk) or full-time for summer interns.

Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D solid/surface models, identify manufacturing and design issues, support CNC file development, assist engineers and project managers with documentation, testing, and reverse-engineering using incomplete data, and update designs based on feedback.

Serve as technical lead for the quality management system; develop, implement, and validate manufacturing quality processes; perform audits, DFMEA/PFMEA and SPC; create QA plans; manage nonconformances and corrective actions; collaborate with supply chain, program management, and engineering; use inspection tools and CAD/CAM to ensure product conformity and continuous improvement.

Provide systems engineering and test support for C-5 aircraft at Robins AFB, including configuration management, scheduling, data analysis, database development, test planning/execution, fault isolation of electrical/electronic systems, technical documentation, and CCB/ERRB support. Requires briefings to management and government personnel.

Lead daily HR, Talent Acquisition, and Training operations; supervise HR/TA/training managers; ensure payroll, benefits, compliance training, onboarding, and investigations; report metrics to leadership; implement process improvements and support HR policy strategy.
