Systems Engineering & Lifecycle Support:
- Conduct systems engineering reviews and analyses across all lifecycle phases including concept development, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, and operations & support
- Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements to guide design, development, fabrication, and evaluation efforts
- Review system design baselines to assess architecture and interoperability requirements
- Support development of system specifications and architecture documentation
- Analyze engineering change proposals, specifications, and vendor submissions and provide recommendations to the Government
Electrical Engineering & Technical Analysis:
- Apply electrical engineering principles to system design, validation, and performance assessment
- Conduct lifecycle cost evaluations of systems and components
- Support risk tracking, issue resolution, and technical working groups
- Contribute to technical planning documentation and alternative solution evaluations
Test & Evaluation (T&E) Support:
- Conduct T&E planning, execution, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with operational requirements
- Evaluate availability and capability of DoD and civilian test resources
- Coordinate scheduling and utilization of required test assets
- Design, document, and support execution of certification and compliance activities
- Program & FMS Support:
- Provide engineering support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts as required
- Support program objectives in alignment with acquisition and sustainment milestones
- Other duties as assigned
RequirementsEducation/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
- Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Additional direct experience required without degree
- 3+ years of experience in a related field required
- 3+ years working in the DoD sector
- Experience and/or training in:
- Electrical circuit analysis
- RF chain specialties (antenna design, high-power transmitters/amplifiers, receiver processing)
- Electro-mechanical controls
- Modeling and simulation in electrical engineering applications
- Hands-on electrical system test and evaluation
- Foreign Ground Radar systems or related DoD applications
- DoD acquisition processes including technical data package development, sustainment, and configuration management principles
- Familiarity With
- Electronic Warfare and/or Air Combat Operations
- Live aircrew training and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development
- Range infrastructure architectures and systems
- Foreign ground radar technologies
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Master's degree in a related field
- Additional direct experience in lieu of degree
- 3+ years of related engineering experience
- 3+ years working in the DoD sector
- Experience with electrical circuit analysis
- RF chain specialties (antenna design, high-power transmitters/amplifiers, receiver processing)
- Electro-mechanical controls experience
- Modeling and simulation in electrical engineering applications
- Hands-on electrical system test and evaluation experience
- Experience with foreign ground radar systems or related DoD applications
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, TDP development, sustainment, and configuration management
- Familiarity with Electronic Warfare and/or Air Combat Operations
- Familiarity with live aircrew training and TTP development
- Familiarity with range infrastructure architectures and systems
- US citizenship
- Active Secret security clearance
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds
