Provides continuous observation and safety monitoring for patients at risk of self-harm, harm to others, falls, or other unsafe behaviors. Works under nursing supervision, identifies and reports concerning changes or situations, removes hazards, and assists with safe patient positioning and movement. Patients may have psychiatric diagnoses, dementia, altered mental status, or drug-induced conditions. Follows hospital procedures, HIPAA standards, and compliance requirements.

Schedules and reschedules diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary, pre-operative, sleep study, and bariatric procedures. Coordinates with referring providers, verifies medical necessity, ICD-10 codes, insurance, demographics, pregnancy and workers’ compensation information, and communicates preparation instructions. Maintains schedules, processes faxes, supports preregistration, follows HIPAA and compliance standards, and performs departmental administrative tasks.

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs telecommunications equipment, switches, wiring, and voice/data systems. Evaluates telecommunications needs, recommends equipment, manages inventory and billing records, coordinates vendors and contracts, distributes mobile equipment, and provides technical assistance and training to end-users, contractors, and technicians.

Leads patient payment posting, bank lockbox and deposit reconciliation, General Ledger recording, unapplied cash maintenance, and payment variance resolution. Reviews remittances, identifies underpayments and overpayments, supports collectors and posting staff, monitors workloads, prepares reports, and assists with revenue-cycle reimbursement strategies. Maintains hospital safety and security by patrolling buildings and grounds, monitoring CCTV and alarms, controlling access, responding to emergencies, investigating incidents, writing reports, escorting individuals, inspecting security conditions, and assisting with disorderly or combative patients. Supports fire response, safety compliance, staff security training, lost-and-found procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Provides emergency department nursing care for patients of all ages by assessing needs, implementing and evaluating care plans, administering medications safely, following physician orders, educating patients and families, documenting in medical records, communicating changes in condition, supporting quality improvement, and complying with HIPAA and organizational standards.

Performs hospital environmental services and janitorial duties, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, equipment, and other areas. Handles floor care, carpet extraction, waste and linen removal, terminal room cleaning, and infection-control procedures. Requires knowledge of obstetric operating rooms, rapid response in emergencies, effective communication, and strict adherence to sterile technique, HIPAA, compliance, and patient-care standards.

May coordinate emergency coverage, supervise technical staff when serving in charge, and perform patient-care support duties in a freestanding emergency room.

Provides respiratory care under the Director of Respiratory Therapy, including prescribed treatments, ventilator operation, oxygen monitoring, pulmonary function studies, EKGs, ABGs, emergency support, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation assistance. Documents patient treatments in Meditech, maintains equipment and supplies, supports emergency-room patient care, follows HIPAA and hospital policies, and coordinates with physicians and clinical staff.

Provides respiratory therapy in acute care and emergency settings, including prescribed treatments, ventilator operation, oxygen equipment monitoring, arterial blood draws, blood gas analysis, EKGs, CPR support, and patient education. Maintains equipment, records treatments, supports quality improvement, assists with emergency room patient care, and may coordinate or supervise technical staff during assigned shifts. Requires a Texas respiratory care license, Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and CPR certification.

Provides respiratory care in acute-care and emergency settings by administering prescribed treatments, operating and monitoring ventilators, performing diagnostic testing, analyzing arterial blood gases, conducting EKGs, and documenting patient responses. Lead and manage all hospital supply chain operations including purchasing, shipping/receiving, inventory control, distribution, courier services, capital equipment procurement, contracts, budgeting support, staff recruitment and training, lean process advising, HIPAA and compliance oversight, and consultative support to clinical departments to optimize inventory and supply spend.

Assist surgeons and OR staff by preparing the operating room, setting up sterile instruments and supplies, scrubbing/gowning, performing counts, passing instruments during procedures, maintaining the sterile field, preparing patients, and ensuring equipment and supply readiness while complying with HIPAA and facility compliance policies.
