Hands-on Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving production and assembly processes, increasing throughput, reducing waste, and resolving manufacturing issues. The role designs and troubleshoots tooling and fixtures, leads Lean Six Sigma and continuous-improvement projects, performs process analyses, develops SOPs and work instructions, supports quality and safety compliance, and assists with new-product development, cost estimates, equipment procurement, and design for manufacturability.

Leads financial management for a manufacturing business unit, including accounting, reporting, FP&A, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, internal controls, pricing analysis, and capital planning. Partners with operations and executives to improve profitability and performance, supports board reporting, oversees IT and HR functions, and participates in SyteLine ERP implementation. Manages finance personnel and coordinates consolidated reporting with the Juarez manufacturing operation.

Provide hands-on electrical engineering support and technical ownership for Raleigh electro-mechanical product lines. Troubleshoot, test, validate, and improve PCB assemblies, sensors, embedded systems, and HMI devices. Support CTI product-line transfer, work with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers, maintain documentation, and drive product stability, manufacturability, and continuous improvement.

Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and turning centers to manufacture precision components from drawings. Develop and optimize CNC programs, select tooling and workholding, perform first-piece and final inspections using precision measuring tools, troubleshoot programs/setups, document setups, and support/mentor other shop staff.

Perform barrel and rack plating operations including loading/unloading parts, monitoring and maintaining plating tanks and chemicals, checking plating thickness/quality, operating plating equipment, maintaining production logs, following hazardous-chemical safety procedures, and supporting additional manufacturing tasks. Second-shift role with overtime and mandatory Saturday mornings; training on first shift for about one month.

Manage and grow regional sales via manufacturer representatives: recruit, train and coach reps; develop accounts and contracts; deliver technical training; forecast and report sales performance; run territory sales calls, trade seminars, and promotional activities. Heavy travel to support field operations and collaborate with customer service and national sales leadership.

Provide hands-on quality support for manufacturing including work instruction and calibration procedure preparation, training, inspection support, root-cause investigation, corrective action proposals, quality data trend analysis, and equipment calibration program support. Assist incoming inspection/QC surge testing and drive continuous improvement and SPC implementation.

Lead full product lifecycle for switches and meters, define multi-year technical/commercial roadmaps, perform market and competitive analysis, integrate M&A products, use ERP/CRM data for pricing and market decisions, and travel ~25% for field leadership.

Lead manufacturing and operations functions including production planning, quality, procurement, vendor management, inventory, shipping, maintenance, KPI development, continuous improvement, staffing, and regulatory adherence to meet financial and delivery goals.

Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance; develop managers and production teams; implement continuous improvement and Lean initiatives; optimize planning, inventory, and processes to meet customer and business goals.

Lead corporate sourcing across five business units: develop commodity strategies, run RFQs and negotiations, manage supplier relationships and contracts, drive cost savings and value engineering, monitor market risk, support new product introductions, ensure material availability, and lead supplier performance and continuous improvement.
