Leads Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory operations. Analyzes workflows, facility design, staffing, process data, and operational metrics to identify problems and improve quality, service levels, costs, laboratory turnaround times, and patient wait times. Develops process maps, standard work, performance metrics, management reports, and optimization recommendations. Trains and coaches project teams, supports the Quality Management System, and collaborates with laboratory personnel and management to implement sustainable process improvements.

Collaborate on dataset design, statistical modeling, process-control integration, and full-stack application development. Present findings to nontechnical audiences while addressing business problems across research, finance, manufacturing, legal, and environmental safety functions.

Leads day-to-day execution of a major federal capital program, coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction teams, stakeholders, contractors, budgets, schedules, risks, quality, commissioning, security, reporting, and closeout. Develops governance frameworks, manages program performance and resources, resolves issues, validates contractor progress, and supports executive decision-making. Requires regular onsite presence in active construction environments.

Designs the technical foundation for Dave’s AI Agent Factory, including agent architecture, MCP servers, governed data access, semantic-layer integrations, evaluation frameworks, deployment standards, observability, authentication, authorization, auditability, and PII protection. The role establishes scalable AI engineering standards and reusable infrastructure while partnering with Data, Engineering, Security, and Product teams to enable safe, reliable company-wide AI adoption.

Supports hardware provisioning, tracking, staging, shipping, recovery, purchasing, inventory audits, vendor coordination, and equipment readiness. The intern assembles computers and deployment kits, follows standard configurations, forecasts equipment needs, identifies shortages, and communicates status across sales, demonstrations, engineering, and customer deployment teams. This is a part-time, on-site role requiring basic IT, hardware, Linux, networking, logistics, and planning skills.
