As a Founding Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain software and AI features for conversational robots while improving infrastructure and monitoring performance.

Process accurate multi-state payroll for more than 3,000 employees, including timekeeping, deductions, benefits, terminations, new hires, off-cycle payments, garnishments, tax levies, and payroll reports. Respond to employee payroll inquiries, support audits, maintain confidential records, provide employment verifications, and ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws and company policies.

Sources passive candidates, builds diverse talent pipelines, screens resumes and applications, conducts initial phone screens, maintains candidate records in Ashby, and supports candidate communication and interview scheduling. Partners with the Director of Talent Acquisition to define sourcing criteria and role requirements across multiple open positions.

Leads customer marketing strategy and a customer marketing team across onboarding, engagement, retention, expansion, renewals, and advocacy. Partners with marketing, product, and customer success teams on lifecycle campaigns, segmentation, customer feedback, events, cross-sell programs, and customer stories. Owns performance metrics including retention, NPS, expansion pipeline, and advocacy, using customer and product usage data to optimize programs and report recommendations to leadership.

Supports demand and inventory planning through Excel analysis, SAP Business One updates, purchase order and production order creation, supplier communications, inventory monitoring, backorder reviews, shipping method analysis, and product trend evaluation. The intern collaborates with planning, category, sales, logistics, warehouse, and production teams to improve replenishment, fulfill customer demand, and support supply chain reporting and process improvements.

Meet with clients to understand their needs and budgets, present suitable life insurance options, support applications, maintain client relationships, and participate in training and coaching. No prior insurance experience is required, but candidates must complete the state licensing process before serving clients.

The role requires strong cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, AI tooling, security, compliance, scripting, presentation, and solution architecture expertise.

Executes and improves talent management and employee experience programs, including onboarding, learning and development, engagement surveys, performance management, culture initiatives, and employee events. Manages the UKG Learning Management System, coordinates performance cycles, facilitates learning experiences, develops onboarding content, and partners across the People Team to support employee growth, engagement, and organizational culture.
