Lead and execute company-wide data, software, ML/AI and IT strategy. Build and manage a multidisciplinary team, establish data architecture and governance, deploy production software and ML workflows, oversee bespoke development and IT services, and partner with scientific teams to ensure secure, reliable, and FAIR data-driven operations.

Lead and build a global IT strategic sourcing and category management function. Develop and execute sourcing strategies across software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and managed services. Manage stakeholder relationships, negotiate major vendor agreements, drive cost savings and supplier performance, oversee team development and governance, and deliver procurement analytics and operating model improvements to align sourcing with enterprise technology objectives.

Designs and manages network and perimeter security (email, DNS, DDoS, IDS/IPS, cloud), implements firewalls and endpoint controls, conducts vulnerability and penetration testing, monitors threats, performs risk assessments, and leads incident response and remediation using SIEM and endpoint tools.

Lead cybersecurity architecture, strategy, certification, and innovation for Block Storage products. Drive compliance and audits, evaluate and integrate new technologies, mentor engineers, influence executive decisions, and deliver defense-in-depth solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities.
