As a Software Engineer - Backend, you will develop products and manage engineering infrastructure, focusing on system design, security, and code quality.

Own and optimize infrastructure for large-scale ML training and inference. Build JAX-based pipelines, manage GPU and TPU workloads, improve distributed performance, and create systems for scheduling, monitoring, checkpointing, debugging, and reproducible experimentation. Partner with researchers to translate modeling ideas into production training runs and contribute to core training code supporting new architectures, modalities, and evaluation metrics.

Processes high-volume customer billing and receivables, submits invoices through customer portals, maintains electronic records, researches billing and cash receipt discrepancies, resolves purchase order issues, supports lien waiver documentation, serves internal and external customers, collaborates across teams, and assists with ERP implementation.

Manages domestic and international logistics for clinical and commercial biotech products at a GMP facility. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, customs clearance, brokers, import and export permits, tracking, shipping and receiving, records, freight invoices, and cross-functional scheduling. The role supports cold-chain biological-material logistics, maintains compliance with QMS, cGMP, SOP, and EHS requirements, and may require physical lifting, weekend work, holidays, and overtime.

Own and lead the global accounting function across multiple jurisdictions. Establish scalable accounting policies, controls, close and consolidation processes; oversee US GAAP reporting, IFRS and Swiss statutory reconciliations, foreign currency translation, intercompany accounting, audits, PCAOB readiness, and acquisition integration. Assess accounting risks, resolve complex technical matters, and build a high-performing global accounting organization.

Generate qualified sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. Communicate Nightfall’s AI-native data loss prevention value to security, compliance, and engineering stakeholders. Partner with Account Executives to schedule meetings and provide clean lead handoffs, maintain accurate CRM activity, and improve outreach using performance data and feedback.

Develops and executes annual giving strategies to grow unrestricted and program fundraising, focusing on donor solicitation, retention, stewardship, and leadership-level gifts. Builds and manages a donor portfolio, conducts donor visits and outreach, tracks fundraising activity in Raiser’s Edge, recruits campaign volunteers, supports events, and collaborates on major and planned giving. Presents to the board and oversees memorial giving programs, including columbarium, memorial wall, and memorial bench opportunities.

Drive revenue expansion within an existing SaaS customer base by identifying upsell opportunities, understanding customer needs, and selling upgrades, add-ons, and expanded contracts. Responsibilities include account relationship management, product demonstrations, pricing and negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, pipeline tracking, revenue forecasting, and meeting upsell quotas.

Processes global intercompany invoices, credit memos, chargebacks, settlements, allocations, and cross-charges. Performs monthly account reconciliations, resolves discrepancies, prepares balance confirmations, and supports period-end journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Maintains SOX-compliant documentation and collaborates with domestic and international accounting teams to improve intercompany processes. Requires strong accounting knowledge, Excel proficiency, and experience with Oracle or similar financial systems.
