Design and deliver mechanical and fluid system components from concept through production and flight. Perform trade studies, detailed CAD designs, and structural/thermal/fluid analyses. Collaborate with propulsion, structures, avionics, controls, and manufacturing teams, work with suppliers, develop and run hardware test plans, support prototyping, vehicle builds, ground and flight testing, and participate in technical reviews and safety/hazard analyses.

Oversee UREC marketing and communications strategy across web, email, print, social, and video. Supervise one full-time staff and student employees, manage budgets, vendor relationships, and brand consistency. Produce and quality-control content, maintain communications calendar, run assessments, and support divisional events and crisis communications as needed.

Lead and implement continuous process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma to improve quality, turnaround, and costs. Analyze and resolve production issues, align quality objectives with AS9100D/NADCAP, maintain process documentation, support corrective actions, develop metrics, and ensure safety and ITAR compliance while liaising between production and quality.

Serve as a multisite HR business partner managing employee relations, HRIS, talent acquisition, onboarding, L&D, compensation, investigations, and HR projects. Act as change agent, coach managers, drive engagement, and modernize HR processes.

Handle high-volume vendor invoice processing, credit card and expense reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations, accurate general ledger coding, respond to vendor inquiries, maintain records, and support month-end close and other accounting tasks.

Manage customer returns (RMA), coordinate with internal teams for failure analysis, maintain RMA records, forecast volumes, schedule logistics, troubleshoot operational/system issues, generate reports, and support continuous improvement to meet lead times and customer satisfaction.

Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, secure software. Collaborate with teammates and clients to refine requirements, estimate scope, review code, mentor juniors, and produce technical documentation and tests.

Support the Director of Business Development with event and sponsorship coordination, CRM data hygiene, inbound lead handling, BD/marketing coordination, and administrative support to build relationships and generate pipeline for the Salt Lake City market.
