Represents USAA members, insured clients, and company entities in personal injury and property and casualty civil litigation. Independently manages caseloads through arbitration, trials, mediations, and appeals; prepares pleadings and legal documents; negotiates settlements; advises claims teams; develops litigation strategies and budgets; provides training; and ensures compliance with risk policies.

Reviews policy coverage, determines liability, establishes reserves, authorizes payments, negotiates settlements, manages litigation strategy with defense counsel, and identifies recovery opportunities. Prepares claim reports, participates in reviews, and mentors new hires. The role requires independent judgment, strong negotiation and analytical skills, claims licensing, and substantial complex-loss claims experience.

Coordinates freight shipments from booking through delivery, communicating with customers, airlines, cargo handlers, carriers, and pickup/delivery agents. Provides quotes, consultative transportation solutions, shipment monitoring, documentation support, issue resolution, and customer service. Maintains carrier relationships, reviews questionable invoices, analyzes data in Excel, and supports operational process improvements. This is an on-site Atlanta role requiring forklift operation.
