Own the end-to-end design of GrantOS, Instrumentl’s foundational platform spanning data, permissions, integrations, core workflows, and enterprise surfaces. Define system-wide interaction patterns, lead zero-to-one product discovery, conduct user research, influence product and engineering direction, and coach other designers. The role requires designing complex B2B SaaS platforms and agentic or AI-powered product experiences.

Build and optimize product-led growth systems across Town, including invite and referral flows, conversion funnels, monetization, team expansion, dashboards, experiments, admin controls, and enterprise SSO. The role ships product rapidly, measures growth metrics, improves virality and free-to-paid conversion, and partners cross-functionally with GTM and business teams. This position is based in San Francisco and requires working in person five days per week.

Customer Engineer provides technical support to customers, resolving complex issues related to data unification, and enhancing customer satisfaction through expert troubleshooting and collaboration with engineering teams.

Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations, including invoice processing, customer billing, collections, reconciliations, and payment follow-up. Support monthly and year-end close through journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting, audits, and tax filings. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve spend tracking, financial accuracy, workflows, and scalable finance infrastructure. Assist with technology implementation and ad hoc finance projects.

Processes bi-weekly payroll, reviews timecards and deductions, maintains payroll records, supports compliance and reporting, and responds to employee payroll questions. Handles accounts payable, including invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor and participant payments, bank transaction recording, journal entries, and month-end and year-end close support. Assists with audits and other finance projects while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Plans, designs, and supports the execution of formwork and shoring systems for construction projects. Collaborates with clients, project managers, engineers, architects, and construction teams; creates drawings, models, and calculations; selects materials; ensures code and safety compliance; provides technical guidance; and monitors project risks, progress, and corrective actions.

Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple markets for clinical, operational, customer service, driver, technician, and corporate roles. Responsibilities include sourcing active and passive candidates, screening, pipeline development, interview coordination, offer management, hiring-manager partnership, recruiting analytics, job-post optimization, ATS maintenance, candidate engagement, and support for hiring events and employer-branding initiatives.

Lead product design for primary care clinicians across discovery, strategy, and delivery. Develop AI-native experiences grounded in clinical workflows, define interaction patterns and visual language, and partner with Product and Engineering across multiple squads. Own usability and satisfaction metrics, conduct user research, make strategic design decisions, and mentor designers through critiques and team initiatives.

Develop production software for maritime route optimization, vessel performance and fuel-consumption modeling, voyage analysis, simulation, and route evaluation. Build and improve optimization algorithms, APIs, services, testing, and explainable recommendation systems using Rust and Python. Collaborate with engineers, product experts, and maritime specialists to translate complex physical and mathematical problems into maintainable software supporting U.S. Government and defense customers.

Own optical test and measurement system development for advanced optical communication systems. Build and automate the optical lab, design experiments, characterize optical and electro-optical systems, analyze measurement data, and guide system design decisions. Drive OSAT and ODM partners through design reviews, testing, qualification, and production transition. Develop MATLAB and Python tools for experiment control, data analysis, scan automation, and sim-to-measurement correlation while meeting quality, cost, and schedule goals.
