In this role, you will set the direction for your product area within the broader One Recon vision, translating organizational objectives and operational insight into a prioritized, outcomes-driven roadmap. You will lead discovery and definition for complex epics and features, align engineering, UX, and operations partners around shared goals, and represent your area in cross-functional forums. You will also serve as a go-to resource for PMs on the team, sharing practices and supporting their growth. Your responsibilities will span area-level product strategy, discovery, stakeholder engagement, go-to-market execution, and performance measurement for your domain.
This role requires a seasoned product manager with strong platform thinking, a working understanding of APIs and integrations, and the ability to balance strategic clarity with hands-on delivery accountability. You will help ensure the One Recon platform delivers measurable operational improvements and supports Cox Automotive's leadership in auction reconditioning services.

- Partner with engineering, UX, and architecture to shape solution designs, resolve trade-offs, and keep delivery on track against committed outcomes.
- Own backlog health for your area, ensuring requirements are clear and ready before they reach delivery teams.
- Escalate blockers and cross-team conflicts to product leadership with a recommended path forward.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Go-To-Market
- Represent your area in release train planning, reviews, and stakeholder forums, communicating progress, risks, and decisions clearly.
- Lead go-to-market readiness for your area's releases, including release communications, operator enablement, and documentation that drives adoption.
- Build alignment across teams and workstreams that touch your area, driving a shared understanding of priorities and progress.
Team Contribution & Mentorship
- Share product management practices, frameworks, and lessons learned with other PMs on the team, and provide informal coaching on discovery, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
- Act as a sounding board for PMs navigating complex stakeholder dynamics or ambiguous problem spaces.
- Contribute to team norms and ways of working that improve consistency and quality of output.
Performance & Optimization
- Define and monitor KPIs and adoption metrics for your area, using data to validate outcomes and guide iteration.
