Your Impact
The Sr Director of Culture, Inclusion & Engagement leads Lowe's enterprise strategy for understanding the associate experience and translating insights into measurable improvements in culture, belonging, leadership effectiveness, retention and business performance. The role owns enterprise associate listening, engagement measurement, action-planning governance and inclusion strategy across stores, supply chain and the store support center (SSC). This leader partners with senior business leaders, HR business partners (HRBPs) and HR centers of excellence to embed effective culture-building and inclusive leadership practices throughout the organization. The role uses workforce insights, responsible AI-enabled analytics and external research to identify priorities, advise leaders, strengthen accountability and ensure associate feedback results in meaningful and measurable actions.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute short- and long-range culture, inclusion, listening and engagement strategies and annual HR plans supporting Lowe's business goals, with a focus on enterprise integration, measurable outcomes and business impact.
  • Lead the evolution of an AI-enhanced listening and insights approach, using responsible AI-enabled summaries, themes, proposed actions to help leaders understand feedback, prioritize action and improve engagement outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver an enterprise-wide associate engagement strategy that supports salaried and hourly associates across stores, supply chain and SSC, including engagement frameworks, leader tools, monthly activation guides, action planning, measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Lead enterprise action-planning strategy and governance to ensure associate feedback is translated into clear leader actions, follow-through, accountability and measurable improvement across engagement drivers.
  • Create and execute communications and change management strategies that drive leader awareness, associate engagement and enterprise adoption across corporate, field and supply chain audiences, while supporting external reputation and stakeholder relationships.
  • Own the enterprise inclusion and belonging strategy and operational plan, partnering with senior leadership to embed inclusive behaviors, strengthen belonging, and ensure associates feel heard, valued and able to contribute.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of culture, engagement, inclusion, listening and reputation initiatives, including engagement drivers, inclusion index, action-planning progress, leader adoption, partner ROI and business impact; and provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain a deep subject matter expertise on emerging trends, risks and best practices in culture, inclusion, engagement and reputation to provide proactive counsel, positive brand positioning and protection.
  • Provide timely guidance and support to leaders, managers and associates on engagement, inclusion, belonging, associate listening, action planning and sensitive culture/reputation issues.
  • Develop and manage strategic external relationships that strengthen Lowe's inclusion reputation, brand credibility, community connection and talent pathways; evaluate partners impact ROI and alignment to enterprise priorities.
  • Partner across HR and the business to build leader capability in inclusive leadership, associate listening, engagement behaviors and culture-building routines.
  • Partner with learning and development, talent management and talent acquisition to inform inclusive leadership, engagement and culture content; provide enterprise inclusion POV and subject-matter expertise while partner functions own scaled design, delivery and platform execution.
  • Develop and foster relationships with relevant external stakeholders and organizations to identify opportunities for partnership with Lowe's.
  • Partner with HRBPs to develop and implement engagement, inclusion and action-planning strategies for corporate and field/stores; partner with talent acquisition and talent management to support future talent pathways, inclusive hiring practices and enterprise talent priorities, and build HR capability in listening, engagement and inclusion.
  • Conduct benchmarking for best-in-class, data driven listening, engagement, inclusion and reputation practices that strengthen Lowe's associate experience and "best place to work" journey, making recommendations for the HR long range plan and scorecard and enterprise action planning.
  • Lead participation in external surveys and benchmarks and support associate opinion survey engagement and inclusion measure, and aligns programs, leader actions and process to improve associate experience, reputation and business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 12 years of business-related experience with 8+ years as a diversity leader experienced with diversity, cultural competencies; experience with global laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity and supplier diversity
  • 8+ years of experience identifying, learning, facilitation, and collaboratively implementing best practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in a global, largely non-exempt organizational setting
  • 7 years of experience leading high performing teams with an emphasis on development, accountability and execution
  • Experience leading enterprise listening strategies, including annual surveys, pulse surveys, lifecycle listening, dashboards, action planning and insight adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to translate associate insights into leader action, measurable outcomes and business impact

Preferred Skills/Education
  • Experience with internal/external reputation management, issue mitigation, stakeholder counsel, or sensitive culture-related matters
  • Experience partnering across cross-functional teams, such as HRBPs, communications, legal, government affairs, talent acquisition, talent management and learning and development
  • Experience using or implementing AI-enhanced insights, analytics, reporting, or leader enablement tools
