Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, UI, and end-to-end testing.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality is built in from the start.
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and metrics for new and existing features.
- Contribute to improving test processes, coverage, and overall system reliability.
- Mentor junior SDETs and advocate for quality best practices across teams.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer in a product development environment.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience in building automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
- Proven experience in Playwright.
- Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test design, and testing techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
