As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategic development and execution of SEON products’ platform and integration experience, ensuring a world-class integration journey for customers and partners. This role owns SEON’s API layer, SDKs, developer tools, documentation, and testing environments, with a focus on performance, enterprise readiness, and ease of integration across all product areas
This role offers flexibility and can be based in Budapest with a hybrid schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Product Area
Core Platform & Service Layer, ensuring consistency across product areas.
Define and enforce latency and performance guidelines across all product areas.
Manage API versioning and lifecycle (introductions, deprecations, backwards compatibility).
Oversee enterprise readiness: global scale, reliability, and performance metrics.
Integration & Ecosystem
Drive webhook integrations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and flexibility for customer use cases.
Define and manage MCP connections to SEON services.
Oversee SDKs (language/framework coverage, usability, and maintenance).
Curate developer tools (Postman collections, CLI, reference implementations, code samples).
Support third-party integrations such as Zapier.
Customer & Business Enablement
Manage entitlements & SKUs: design entitlement models and align them with packaging and monetization.
Define billing support requirements for accurate, scalable invoicing tied to product usage.
Partner with commercial teams to ensure technical alignment with contracts and revenue models (e.g., rate limiting, quotas, usage tiers).
Define requirements for audit logs, compliance support, and data residency for enterprise customers.
Developer Experience & Onboarding
Own the SEON Docs API Reference, ensuring it delivers a first-class onboarding and integration experience.
Provide sandbox/testing environments with sample datasets and debugging tools.
Create and maintain technical documentation, guides, and quickstarts with clear standards.
Ensure release notes and changelogs are developer-friendly and transparent.
Optimize time-to-first-success: reduce friction from signup to first API call and production deployment.
Performance & Observability
Collaborate with engineering to define SLAs for APIs.
Define requirements for monitoring, observability, and customer-facing diagnostics (e.g., error reporting, API status).
Track and improve integration analytics: adoption, error rates, latency, and customer outcomes.
WHAT YOU’ll BRING:
8+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner, with a strong track record in technical product areas such as APIs, integrations, or developer platforms.
Expertise in managing the full product lifecycle, from strategy through execution, with a focus on developer-facing products.
Deep understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL), SDKs, entitlements, and integration patterns (webhooks, authentication flows, sandbox environments).
Experience collaborating with engineering and architecture teams on complex technical projects and system designs.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum), JIRA, and product management best practices.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of bridging technical details with business needs and presenting to diverse stakeholders.
Background in software development, systems architecture, or technical program management is a strong advantage.
Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset and an eye for scaling enterprise readiness.
