About the role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will use your extensive payroll knowledge and advanced skills to solve complex payroll challenges. You will lead the payroll execution team and ensure all payroll activities are compliant and efficient. Your role contributes significantly to the mitigation of payroll risks and optimization of payroll processes.
Responsibilities:
Lead complex payroll processing cycles.
Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures.
Conduct payroll system enhancements and maintenance.
Oversee compliance with tax regulations and filings.
Resolve advanced payroll discrepancies and issues.
Generate and analyze detailed payroll reports.
Train and mentor junior payroll associates.
Coordinate multi-departmental payroll activities.
Support financial audits with payroll data.
Develop strategies for payroll process improvements.
Requirements:
3 years of relevant professional experience in finance or payroll calculation and personnel administration, or a related field
Experience with managing UK payroll processes is preferred
Experience in an international corporate environment
Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of payroll regulatory requirements.
Advanced Problem-Solving: Tackling complex payroll issues effectively.
Analytical Skills: Generating and interpreting payroll data reports.
Technology Utilization: Ensuring payroll systems are up-to-date and efficient, familiarity with Global View or SAP HR is preferred
Communication Skills: Competent interfacing with multiple departments.
Process Optimization: Implementing impactful improvements in payroll processes.
Advanced English language skills
