Location

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Sofia, Bulgaria, working in a hybrid model.

Role Summary

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will contribute significantly to the end-to-end development of modern front-end solutions, including concept, enhancement, delivery, and defect resolution.

You will be accountable for the technical quality of your own work, actively participating in code reviews and upholding high engineering standards.

What You Will Do

• Take an active part in design, refinement, implementation, and bug fixing.
• Take technical ownership over own deliveries, keep high code quality with code reviews.
• Collaborate effectively within own team and with involved teams/departments.
• Prioritize own work and makes tradeoff decisions.
• Have the opportunity to grow into a Lead Engineer role, taking responsibility for technical direction, mentoring team members and driving engineering best practices within the team.

What You Bring to the Team

• 5+ years of professional experience in Front End Development.
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Strong knowledge of DOM, HTML and CSS (SASS / LESS).
• Solid hands-on experience with React-based applications and technologies (Redux, Jest, Cypress, Material UI and Webpack Module Federation).
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) responsibly in daily development for tasks such as code generation, refactoring, debugging and documentation.
• Good understanding of the HTTP stack.
• You know how to build and maintain CI/CD workflows and development pipelines (e.g. build, test, lint and deployment automation).
• Experience with Git source control or TFS.
• Fluent command of English.

About the Team

You will join the Install and Update Team, whose main objective is to deliver a seamless and intuitive experience for installing and updating the platform. The team focuses on the entire installation and update journey, from initial setup through platform updates and upgrades.

We leverage modern web technologies to build efficient and user-friendly solutions. You'll be working in a friendly and collaborative environment, where teamwork, innovation, and customer experience are highly valued.
